Member Spotlight: Matt Schulte
Matt Schulte has spent his career in sports business. Currently he works for FIFA as the Senior Manager of Hospitality Stakeholder Services. He is based in Miami, Florida at the headquarters of the 2026 FIFA World Cup™ that will take place in North America. His duties include managing the premium hospitality services for partners at the 16 match stadiums across USA, Mexico, and Canada. Previously, Matt worked in the Kansas City Royals front office for 13+ years. During his time there he served in various departments with positions in Ticket Sales, Marketing, and Corporate Partnerships. Matt was involved in executing MLB Jewel events that the Royals hosted, including the 2012 All-Star Game Festivities, 2014 Postseason, and the 2015 World Championship.
Outside of work, Matt has served on the Board of Directors of the Heartland Men’s Chorus and the Greater Kansas City Attractions Association. He was also a member of the Kansas City Chamber’s Centurions Leadership Program and received an ACE Diversity Award from this same Chamber. Mr. Schulte holds a Sports Management degree from NYU at the Preston Robert Tisch Institute for Global Sport. Matt grew up in Kansas City.
